Coastal Ecosystems LLC was founded in 2019 to integrate and advance the collective knowledge of aquatic ecology in the coastal zone.

Dr. Christopher Buzzelli is the Principal Scientist and CEO of Coastal Ecosystems LLC.  Dr. Buzzelli has 30 years experience in the assessment and forecasting of ecological patterns and trends in estuarine, wetland, seagrass, oyster, and benthic environments from Chesapeake Bay to the Gulf of Mexico.
